SGI – SIMP congress

OPENLIT project took part in the SGI (Società Geologica Italiana) – SIMP (Società Italiana di Mineralogia e Petrologia) “Geology for a sustainable management of our Planet” congress in Bari, from the 3rd to the 5th of September.

The project was presented during the session #5, "Geosciences for Cultural Heritages”, through the contribution "The OPENLIT project: a first step for an open access lithotheque of Italian knappable rocks".

We showed the first steps to create the open access lithotheque, introducing the audience the approach and the modalities of our research with a more geological focus.

We would like to thank again Società Geologica Italiana (SGI), Società Italiana di Mineralogia e Petrologia (SIMP) and the session organisers for the opportunity to show our project to the scientific community and the possibility to share and acquire knowledge from other session’s participants.
